Visiting both Mexico and Cuba provides many interesting experiences for a European. One of the things we don’t see in Europe, but that we continuously saw during our two weeks in Mexico and Cuba, were the majestic pelicans. Few birds in the Nordic are of this size, so when they come soaring in the sky they’re hard to miss and beautiful to watch. The pelicans on this picture were casually resting on metal poles in the ocean outside of Havana, and we admired them for a while from El Malecón.
